Filmmaking on a budget [The Ultimate Guide]





We'll go through the whole process of budget filmmaking by making a short film for less than $1000!

For the short film we are making in this video, we are using the Canon 700D/rebel t5i with the 18-55mm kit lens, the rode videomic Pro, a broom and a reflector!

There are many aspects of a film production and we'll go through some of those we think is important (click the preferred timecode):
1:43 - Finding the idea and writing
4:04 - Research. Finding the locations, finding actors, buying camera, microphone and light equipment.
10:24 - Shooting the film. Technicolor Cinestyle picture profile, camera angles, directing actors, blocking, lighting a scene and recording sound
20:40 - Editing. Premiere Pro CC, color grading, sound effects, adding music, Music Vine and exporting.
30:56 - The shortfilm "Coming home"

Special Needs Revolt!  Is an action-horror-comedy film. The film's hero, Billy Bates, who will be played by up-and-coming actor Samuel Dyer, is a young man with Down syndrome. Billy wakes up from a two-year coma and discovers that the United States has been turned into a brutal dictatorship thanks to President Kruger, to be played by award-winning veteran actor Bill Weeden ( Sgt.
